TTC Cycle 7 with Clomid/Ovidrel!
December 08, 2014 - 10:49 PM

So I am hoping that next year is the year that we will become parents. We have been trying to conceive since April of this year. We hadn't had much success seeing as we are not parents yet. We kept having sex on my fertile days, but I don't know why I couldn't get pregnant. Finally, in September I scheduled an appointment to see a specialist to see what was going on.

I got tests done and thankfully they all came out good. I don't have PCOS or any other uterus/infertility problems. My husband's sperm analysis came out very good. We were both very happy to hear all the good news.

In October we finally went on a small honeymoon trip and it was to Las Vegas! We attended the Life is Beautiful Music Festival and I finally got to see Skrillex! I was so excited because I had been wanting to see him live so bad. I enjoyed my time and at the same time during that time was when I got the worst period symptoms I have ever felt. I could not sleep the whole night due to cramps and I felt like throwing up due to the pain. It was horrible! I could not understand why I was feeling like that.

Finally, for my November Period our doctor started me on Clomid! Basically it's a medication that will make me ovulate! On the 12th day of my cycle I did an Ovidrel injection so that my egg(s) could be released in 36 hours to be fertilized by sperm! So I did the shot on Thursday night and Saturday morning we had sex and then during the night. We also had sex Thursday night. Now we are just waiting the two week wait! I'm so anxious and nervous. I'm really hoping we become pregnant this time around. It would mean so much!

My doctor already scheduled for me to take a blood test on the 19th of this month to check on my Thyroid and to see if I got pregnant. Oh my goodness, that is in 11 days! Wow! I'm hoping that time flies from here to there.

I suppose I will be back either during the week or that time to update our results. Please send me baby dust and keep your fingers crossed!

yesterday - tomorrow

It might make you feel better
